Using Spell Hop

Spell Hop provides spelling-practice activities, personalised progress, and family rewards. By creating or using an account, you agree to these terms. If you are setting up Spell Hop for a child, you confirm that you are their parent or guardian, or otherwise have permission to do so.

Family accounts

A parent or guardian controls the family account and is responsible for protecting the account, parent passcode, and sign-in method. Please keep child profiles limited to a first name or another display name. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate content, including reward images you do not have permission to use.

Free trial and subscriptions

Eligible families receive seven days of full access without entering payment details. After the trial, continued access requires the Spell Hop family plan at $9.99 USD per month, plus any applicable taxes. One plan covers the whole family account and its child profiles.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled before the next billing date. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the billing portal; cancellation stops future renewal and access continues until the end of the paid period, subject to applicable law.

Learning and rewards

Spell Hop is a practice tool, not a guarantee of educational outcomes. Parent-created rewards are arrangements between the parent and child; Spell Hop does not provide, approve, or fulfil them.

Acceptable use

You must not interfere with the app, attempt to access another family's data, bypass security controls, reverse engineer the service where prohibited by law, or use Spell Hop in a way that is unlawful or harmful to others.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Spell Hop available and helpful, but the service may change, be updated, or occasionally be unavailable. We may suspend or end access where necessary to protect users, comply with law, or maintain the service.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Spell Hop is provided without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
